Brighter Days (BRD) opened up a second-half scoring barrage to a 95-69 runaway victory over The Skill Factory (TSF) on Saturday afternoon.
Tray Croft had a game-high 26 points on 11 of 18 shooting from the field. Jericole Hellems had a game-high 12 rebounds all from the defensive glass. The former Wolfpack star added 19 points including a posterizing dunk over Alphonzo Willis.
Five players in all scored in double figures for the winners. Brighter Days scored won the turnover battle outscoring TSF 24-8.
Julian Mackey had 22 points but it was not enough to offset spotty shooting in the second and fourth quarters. Nick Fleming and Alphonzo Willis tossed in 12 and 13 points each.
BRD never trailed after grabbing the lead in the second.
