Five players scored in double figures to lead Team Zero to a 97-76 win over the GA Kingz in AEBL Pro-Am action at KIPP Collegiate in Atlanta. Former Brooklyn Nets guard Lance Thomas and Teshaun Hightower combined to score 38 points in the win.

Teshaun Hightower led the charge for Team Zero with 17 points on 6 of 11 from the field. Lance Thomas led the squad with 21 points on a near-perfect 10-11 shooting performance. Kalu Ezkipe added 18 points, grabbed 6 rebounds, and dished out 4 assists. Jehloni James had a nice double-double with 13 defensive boards to go along with his 14 points.

As a cohesive unit, Team Zero displayed remarkable shooting accuracy, hitting 40 out of 68 field goals attempted, and connecting on 8 out of 22 attempts from beyond the arc. Their dominance in the paint was evident, outscoring the GA Kingz with an impressive 52 points to 34.

On the other side of the court, GA Kingz had some standout performances of their own. Tae Bailey led the squad with a game-high 31 points on 14-20 shooting from the field.

The Team Zero bench outscored the opponent’s bench 24-10.
