Taylor did most of his scoring damage in the second half with 12 points. Darius Washington, III came off the bench to score 13 points and yank down 6 rebounds. Kennesaw was +12 in rebounds, including +17 on the defensive glass. Their dominance held the Panthers to 20 second-chance points.
Point guards Malachi Brown and Micah Tucker led the Panthers’ offensive charge. Brown came off the bench to lead all GSU scorers with 15 points to go along with a game-high 4 steals.
The Owls’ defense held the Panthers below 30% from the floor and 20% from beyond the arc. KSU won the battle of the paint 38-24 and was +15 on points off turnovers.
